M04G Product Sheet

Description:

The M04G plates utilize two microfabricated perfusion barriers to create a diffusion gradient in the culture chamber. The barriers have 4 micron pores, enabling free diffusion, but restrict convective flows. Each diffusion channel (top and bottom) is fed by 3 independent inputs, enabling sophisticated gradient switching experiments. (See Product Sheet for more detail.)

M04G Gradient

Continuous perfusion of culture medium to the cells ensures a suitable growth environment for long term experiments. Typical experiments run for 4-72 hours on the microscope stage, enabling single cell tracking during gradient exposure and switching. Cells are easily loaded via pipet, and can be cultured for many days prior to experiment using a gravity driven flow in any incubator.

Applications:

• Cell Response to Chemical Gradient
• Gradient Switching

• Neutrophil Chemotaxis
• Cancer Cell Migration

• Cell Polarization
• 3D Gradient
